I'm Mindy, Founder of Truman Wealth!

I am an experienced investor, a financial news junkie, a world traveler, and a podcast nerd. I am also a mom, a wife, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a runner, a surfer, a guitar player, and a yogi. I have dreams and passions and hopes for my future and my family's well-being. So I get where you're coming from, and I am glad you are here.

I have spent the majority of my career dedicated to serving shareholders, employees, and stakeholders in the corporate world. While I love what I do, I also crave time and interaction on a more direct basis in a servant leadership role for others. I have had the opportunity to interact directly with business small owners and entrepreneurs over the course of my career, and they have inspired me to launch something that was all my own.

I have years of experience as both an institutional public market and private market investor and training as part of an angel investor network. And while credentials are no replacement for authentic experience, I do have a few things I’ve done that I am proud of.

I have a degree in Finance from Truman State University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from St. Louis University. I am currently a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

QUALIFICATIONS

I grew up in Illinois, but now I call Columbia Missouri my home. One of my favorite places to be is running its beautiful trails. I am married to Travis, and we have two beautiful kids, Riley and Tyler.
